Fill in the Blank Friday: COLOR!

Today is Fill in the Blank Friday over at The Little Things We Do...

Today's topic is "Color," which, frankly, is hard. I love colors, but I'm such a non-artistic person that I sort of fizzle out in the "commitment" department when it comes to using them.

Anyway. Here are today's seven blanks:

1.  My favorite color is  Gosh. I have NEVER been able to answer this satisfactorily. It changes constantly, with my mood, with my hair color and with the seasons. I'm a total sucker for the "new" colors each season, and I always look at my old nail polishes or eye shadows or shoes and think, "Ew. Last season's color." Not that I can afford to do anything about it... 

Distracted tangents? Yes. I has them. 

Blue. We'll go with blue. 

2.   My home decor color palette includes Nothing interesting (broke grad students who are moving across country in seven weeks). But, if I had my druthers, I'd have it awash in non-pukey neutrals with pops of intense, rich jewel tones. Like a vanilla colored couch with deep purple throw pillows.

3.  Other people always tell me I look good in the color Hmmm... lots of colors. Though I probably get the most compliments on the bluish-green shades and bright, fire engine red. I know. Opposites. I'd like to thank my combo of light skin/dark eyes for the ability to pull that off.
  

4. The color I detest is Gold. I know, I know, people think it looks rich and decadent. I think it looks tacky. 

5. If you were to look in my closet most of the colors you'd see would be  I actually arrange my clothes by color, so I know that I actually have something in pretty much every color. But, there's more black, blue and green than the others.

6. A color that I simply cannot pull off no matter how hard I try is  Gold. Admittedly, I don't try all that hard (see #4), but still.

7.  The color of my favorite dress is  Gray, with a greenish undertone to it. It sounds kind of depressing, but it's not. It's gorgeous.
